The Cost of Business

Stephen King once said that “Life isn't a support system for art. It's the other way around.” However, many touring musicians end up martyring themselves or those around them in order to proliferate art. My hypertext narrative attempts to tackle this issue by damaging the protagonist’s reputation, no matter what course the reader chooses to take. As the reader is forced to carry out the destruction of this character, they will consider the capacity at which artists must function in order to complete what would be seemingly trivial or mundane tasks.
